In this position, the Sr. Analyst is responsible for managing and running five business processes, including refining each process, calendaring reviews, preparing dashboards/reports/tools to assist Segment data analysts, and conducting post-mortems after each cycle for continuous improvement.Responsibilities:Work with internal BU Sales on the preliminary Sales Lock process (2x per quarter).
Reconcile gaps between Sales forecast and Marketing demand forecast.
Review with Consumer Segment Director and BU Sales cycle-on-cycle changes, deltas to prior Plan, and identify Risks and OpportunitiesDrive BDM Demand analysis and review – ensure BDM demand signal is clean and consistent.
Work with Biz Ops on MSR demand.
Reconcile gaps between FSF and MSR.
Ensure final edits make into latest MSR.
Work with Biz Ops to adjust supply (RSV1, RSV2) as needed to support the latest demand signals.Prepare Biz Plan analysis and 'story'.
Analyze CoC, YoY, $$, Gb/GB, MSS% changes.
Prepare 'walks to explain how/why the Biz Plan changed.
Prepare Risks and Opportunities from latest Demand.
Prepare Biz Plan slides, ensure messages align with goalsSupport LR-MSR process.
Work with Segment lead to provide SOM Dashboard and analysis.
Ensure BDM demand is consistent with MSR (Short-term), and Biz Plan (Medium term).
Assist with CE Market Model automationKey Responsibilities as Segment Operations Senior Business Analyst:Facilitate the internal business processes with the EBU Segment Marketing organization, including quarterly Sales Lock, quarterly Plan, MSR (Short-term demand), LR-MSR (Long range demand), & Market Model.Develop, implement, and lead the completion of each business process by working with each Segment team in the Segment Marketing organization, calendar meetings in advance of each cycle, & provide timely communications and training of the processes/tools for each cycle as needed.Hold regular review with EBU Segment Marketing staff to provide updates of upcoming cycles, changes, or special areas of focus.Collect requests for information from Segment leads.
Develop tools/templates as needed to provide required information.
Interface with Data Architecture team to create/adopt new tools that are being developed at the corporate level.Conduct quarterly internal post-mortem on each cycle, identify improvements/changes that need to be made.
Work with necessary teams to implement those changes.Manage 2-4 business process analysts locally to successfully achieve deliverables.Requirements:An ideal candidate will have:At least 6-10 years of Business Operations or Business Analyst experience.Extensive experience managing and leading business processes within large organizations.Experience and knowledge of enterprise tools including Tableau, Power BI.
Familiarity with Rapid Response and Snowflake is preferred.Ability to work with off-site management team and lead team locally with minimal oversight.Familiarity with memory market, product technologies, & competitors.
In-depth knowledge of semiconductor industry ecosystem/supply chain landscape/design-in process.Proven record and/or working experience in multi-national company.
Demonstrates ability to solve complex problems across multi-functional teams, and/or multi-regional teams.Strong communication skills.
Ability to discuss business and technical details with customers and uplevel key messages to Senior Management.
Able to speak English fluently.Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Outlook).Self-motivated, self-disciplined, ability to complete tasks with minimal management oversight and direction.Ability to travel as needed to California.This role does not involve finalizing sales agreements or executing sales contracts.
The role also does not carry authority to make definitive decisions regarding contracts, be it their conclusion or termination.
Additionally, the role is not designed to involve participation in pricing negotiations or the authorization of contracts.
