About the Opportunity
DMI, LLC is seeking a Senior Business Process Consultant Dynamics to join us. This resource is required to be located in Monterrey, Mexico.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Business Process Consultant for Dynamics will lead efforts to implement a digital solution that integrates Microsoft Dynamics 365 with SAP and Aveva PI systems.
The consultant will be responsible for aligning Dynamics 365 processes with business needs, ensuring successful integration, and optimizing workflows across systems.
They will provide expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365, manage integration with SAP and Aveva PI systems, and collaborate with both technical and business teams to ensure the solution meets functional and strategic requirements.
This role will also focus on change management, business process improvement, and seamless data flow across platforms.
Engage with business stakeholders to understand the overall business goals, challenges, and requirements for integrating SAP, Aveva PI, and Dynamics 365.
Lead discovery sessions and workshops to document and refine the functional and technical requirements for the integration.
Work closely with SAP and Aveva PI teams to understand the specific data and functionality required for the integration with Dynamics 365.
Define the technical and functional specifications for integrations, including mapping out data flows between the systems.
Design workflows that ensure seamless data exchange and real-time reporting between the platforms, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
Define testing strategies, scenarios, and criteria to ensure that the integration between Dynamics 365, SAP, and Aveva PI is successful.
Coordinate and conduct system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT), addressing any issues or discrepancies that arise.
Ensure data accuracy and workflow functionality across the integrated systems, refining where necessary.
Qualifications
Education and Years of Experience:
5+ years of experience
Required and Desired Skills / Certifications:
7-10 years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 in CRM module.
In-depth knowledge of configuration, customization, and system administration in Dynamics 365.
Proven experience in projects involving integrations of Dynamics 365 with other systems, especially ERP systems (SAP) and industrial solutions like Aveva PI.
Familiarity with SAP frameworks and methodologies (IDoc, BAPI, and RFC) for integration purposes.
Knowledge of operational data integration (e.g., real-time data flow from Aveva PI to Dynamics 365 for decision-making and reporting).
Expertise in integration architecture and middleware tools (e.g., Azure Logic Apps, Microsoft Power Automate, MuleSoft, SAP PI / PO).
Strong understanding of data models, API management, and ETL processes.
Ability to translate complex business requirements into functional workflows within Dynamics 365.
