Administration of RFQs to support strategies, benchmarking and achieve competitive sourcing decisions.- Problem solving and negotiation with suppliers including engagement and escalation process to the Global Commodity organization.- Support flawless launch activities including component ordering and on time deliveries.- Monthly forecast and budget development and execution.- Achieve plant's material savings expectation.
Identify cost saving opportunities and drive to implementation in accordance with plant and global goals and objectives.- Effective Supplier Risk Management.
Proactively identify and resolve supplier capacity constraints.- Support problem resolution for escalation from plant commercial supplier topics, including quality and delivery.- Actively participate and engage in cross-functional activities with product engineering, material order, quality, among others to establish strategies and actions aiming for best value for the company.- Lead tactical purchasing activities (Purchase Orders / Tooling / Contract Management, Price Maintenance, Change Management, Analysis and Reporting)Required Qualifications:- Bachelor degree or equivalent experience- Minimum 3 years of experience in Purchasing within international production company (preferably in automotive industry)- Proficient English- Analytical skills (MS Office/SAP)- High communication / negotiation / collaboration skill with internal and external stakeholders- Positive attitude to learn and face challenges, thinking outside of the box, team player- Time management skills with ease to understand and establish prioritiesInternal Use Only: SalaryGlobal Terms of Use and Privacy StatementPlease access the linked document by clickinghere,
