- Direct components management for Fuel Systems.
- Commodity strategy development and execution.
- Sourcing management.
Administration of RFQs to support strategies, benchmarking and achieve competitive sourcing decisions.
- Problem solving and negotiation with suppliers including engagement and escalation process to the Global Commodity organization.
- Support flawless launch activities including component ordering and on time deliveries.
- Monthly forecast and budget development and execution.
- Achieve plant's material savings expectation.
Identify cost saving opportunities and drive to implementation in accordance with plant and global goals and objectives.
- Effective Supplier Risk Management.
Proactively identify and resolve supplier capacity constraints.
- Support problem resolution for escalation from plant commercial supplier topics, including quality and delivery.
- Actively participate and engage in cross-functional activities with product engineering, material order, quality, among others to establish strategies and actions aiming for best value for the company.
- Lead tactical purchasing activities (Purchase Orders / Tooling / Contract Management, Price Maintenance, Change Management, Analysis and Reporting)
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Purchasing within international production company (preferably in automotive industry)
- Proficient English
- Analytical skills (MS Office/SAP)
- High communication / negotiation / collaboration skill with internal and external stakeholders
- Positive attitude to learn and face challenges, thinking outside of the box, team player
- Time management skills with ease to understand and establish priorities
