.**_Job Summary_**To contribute to the profit of the division using the methods, more effective systems and procedures in the Purchasing department.**_Job Responsibilities_**- Maintain communication and updates with internal customers.- Consolidate suppliers to optimize costs by offering more purchases in exchange for better costs.- Development and implementation of procedures to streamline and improve delivery time.- Planning and ordering the necessary materials required for the commercial centers of production.- Maintain inventory levels of materials in accordance with the objectives set monthly.- Expedite overdue materials to prevent the lack of raw material.- Maintain the integrity of the prices to achieve cost-out.- Establish and maintain methods for planning purchases.- Have direct communication with suppliers regarding material usage as per forecast.- Give disposition to rejected material and create corrective action plans.- Troubleshooting problem bills to pay our suppliers, avoiding the suspension of our credit.- Diverting materials for purposes of reducing inventory.- Provide engineering support in the implementation of new materials.- Provide the necessary support to production to achieve finished product goals.- Provide necessary support EHS policies are respected in all of its contents.EHS Responsibilities:- Separate hazardous waste from the common waste.- Place hazardous waste (gloves, rags, etc.) in assigned containers.- Keep clean the work área contaminant free.- Do not waste water.- Report any activity that may jeopardize my safety and the environment.- Identify and properly dispose all the chemicals that may contaminate the environment.- Ensure the correct container for the disposal of hazardous waste (identified containers and containers to prevent spills).- Report the entry of new Chemicals required for Maintenance purposes due to maintain a record updated and assure the compliance of the correct handling of them.- Contain oil spills and repair as necessary.LI-SL4**Qualifications**:**_ Qualifications_**- Preferred education level:_- Bachelor's Degree.- Years and area of experience required:_- 3-5 years in similar position with electronic components.- Technical knowledge:_- Fully bilingual (English and Spanish), MS Office Excel, Word, SAP.- Soft skills:_- Multifunctional, work under pressure, customer service oriented, abilities to negotiate.Eaton is an intelligent power management company dedicated to improving the quality of life and protecting the environment for people everywhere.
