**We are searching for the best talent for SENIOR CALIBRATION TECHNICIAN to be in Juarez, Chih., MX, Planta Independencia**
**Purpose**:
Performs the assigned calibration activities, maintaining the department's calibration objectives with zero over dues. Performs calibration procedures correctly by using the applicable calibration standards appropriately _. _
**_You will be responsible for _**_: _**
- Calibrates, maintains, and safeguards inspection, measuring, test equipment (IM&TE) and software according to guidelines and procedures.
- Participates in the development and maintenance of written calibration procedures.
- Maintains calibration records for IM&TE.
- Development and maintenance of written calibration procedures (for senior)
- Generates NCR's according to local procedures. (for senior)
- Ensure all disposition and changes to IM&TE's are made following procedures. (for senior)
- Responsible for adequate training to Technicians according to Symmetry System (for senior)
- Compliance with company safety policies, procedures, and other safety precautions within the work area.
- Ensures that the controlled environmental monitoring is complete and on schedule.
- Ensures compliance with Environmental Management System (EHS) responsibilities
- Follow J&J and Records Management Policies for Convenience Information, Records Retention Schedules, Training and Education, Document Hold Notices, Records Cleanout, Inactive Records and Information Management, Vital Records, and third-party vendor if applicable.
- Other responsibilities may be assigned and not all responsibilities listed may be assigned
- Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level
- Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
- Performs other duties assigned as needed

**External Qualifications**:
- Technical Career Studies or equivalent applicable to the area: Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, Electronics, Metrology, Instrumentalist.
- Approximate experience, or equivalent knowledge and skills, necessary to satisfactorily perform the position responsibilities.
- 4 to 6 years of experience in related fields.
- See Table A for years of experience required
- One-year experience in calibration system required (for senior and upper levels)
- Bilingual: English/ Spanish preferred
- GMP/ ISO knowledge preferred
- Knowledge of calibration and metrology preferred for level I &II and required for senior and upper levels.
- Knowledge of electronic, pneumatic and electrical systems preferred
- NCR system knowledge required
- eMarket Place / JD system knowledge preferred
- PC literate preferred
- Maximo System Knowledge preferred _._
