DescriptionDefine and implement a category strategy for the North America region in alignment with Global Category Management and Business Units requirements.Support of sourcing process during product development through supplier selection. Final negotiation of prices and closure of contracts.Support planning, controlling and reporting of objectives within defined area of responsibility.Compile, prepare and present results related to strategies, sourcing results, etc. to Senior Management and Business Units.Planning, monitoring and reporting of purchasing KPI's (as PPV, PPM, APR, etc.), specific overall objectives, to define and introduce proactive and/or corrective measures to achieve global category targets.Lead and support annual price negotiations with global suppliers.Additional responsibilities:Continuous improvement of supplier relation and performance to meet the technical, quality, delivery and costs expectations for BU.Interface with program team management, supplier quality assurance and plant purchasing to develop supplier expectations and drive supplier performance.Identification, track and forecast of the key cost drivers and market factors for Turned Components.Conduct regular business reviews with suppliers and develop sourcing strategies based on quality, delivery, cost and global market considerations.**Qualifications**:- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering.- Min. 4 years experience in Supply Chain Management- Advanced knowledge of excel & SAP.- Advanced Business English, Strong negotiation skills, Crisis management.- Fluent EnglishPreferred Qualifications:- Masters in Business, Economics or Finance.- 5 years experience.- Experience with Turned Components.Continental develops pioneering technologies and services for sustainable and connected mobility of people and their goods.
