About the function
Diageo Digital & Technology (D&T) is a multi-functional, digital delivery function established to liberate and equip markets to deliver the Diageo's Strategic Priorities. This is achieved through:

D&T plays a meaningful role in enabling Diageo's digital agenda through delivering our strategic priorities in many areas, including E-Commerce, Digital Marketing, Demand Sensing and Manufacturing Optimisation.
The Change Management Office sits within the Portfolio and Project Centre, to enable greater benefits realisation through a structured and consistent approach to change management.
This role is specifically focussed on providing change management of portfolio related change for the Tequila business, located in Mexico and local knowledge, including bi-lingual English-Spanish is critical (working knowledge Portuguese desirable)
About the role
- Provide direction and thought leadership in change management to deliver great outcomes through major change initiatives
- Own change plans for a particular function and/or geography to ensure change projects work together effectively and the collective change is manageable for the impacted community
- Drive consistency and rigour in change management through defining and embedding the change management framework and associated tools/templates
- Build a consistent logic to evaluate the scale and impact of change projects and assess the level of change management resources required for each project
- Gather data and collating lessons learned to improve future changes and embedding standard processes
Market complexity
D&T delivers products to all Diageo markets and functions. A change manager will advise on change delivery across a complex multi geography/ functional/ process/ system footprint. Risk to business operations, change impact, and compliance/controls is in the mid to high range.
Top accountabilities
- Assess change impact at the outset of programmes and projects, to gauge change resources needed.
- Conduct comprehensive change impact assessment from which to define detailed change plan
- Own change plans across respective product line and geography to handle impact for the function/region.
- Define a robust team member map to identify key sponsors, supporters and advocates
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships with senior representatives from corresponding global function or region
- Mentor customers and sponsors on their role in leading and embedding change.
- Work with project teams to integrate change management activities into the overall project plan and support extended network of change resources
- Govern and support use of Diageo change framework by project change leads
- Identify potential risks and anticipated blockers to change at a programme level, and develop specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns
- Conduct assessments to continuously evaluate business readiness based on the latest business environment and market conditions
- Collect meaningful metrics to measure the value and impact of the change management activities
Qualifications and experience required
- 5+ Years change management experience related to technology-enabled business change
- Skills in: Change Management, Customer Management, Influencing, Communication, Negotiation, Strategy and Planning, Critical Thinking, Coaching and Leadership, Agile
