**Responsibilities will include but are not limited to**:
- Lead and coordinate the local SCE team to deliver the expected results and above, partnering with management to grow the team.
- Analyze and characterize customer's workloads to recommend system and/or OS configuration changes.
- Provide the customer with software Best Known Configuration (BKC) for best performance on Intel architecture.
- Identify software optimization opportunities, recommend best-fit CPU SKU, and perform competitive evaluation. In the absence of a customer's specific workload, you will design (with the customer) and implement a proxy workload used for performance evaluation.
- Design, analyze, develop, validate, and debug software to optimize or enable hardware features on cloud, edge, and on-prem deployment models.
- Specialize in specific technology domains including data services (ingestion, database, analytics), AI/ML, and opensource development projects.
- May include the development of reference cloud platform software and improving or enabling customer designs to obtain the greatest value from Intel products within the cloud.

**Qualifications**:** Minimum Qualifications**:
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.
- Bachelor's degree in Software engineering or related field.
- 6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer (or equivalent).
- 4+ years of experience working with C++, C, Java, Python or Assembly.
- 4+ years of experience working with Linux operating system.
- 3+ years of work experience in one or more of the following domains: transaction processing, search, high-frequency trading, media, machine learning, deep learning, AI.
- 3+ years of experience defining and leading small projects.
- 4+ years of experience in computer architecture, software architecture and debugging.
- Advanced English level.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Fluent in two or more of the following programming languages: C++, C, Java, Python or x86 Assembly.
- 7+ years of work experience with Linux operating system.
- 4+ years of work experience with Vtune or equivalent profiling tools.
- 2+ years of work experience with emon or equivalent profiling tools.
- 3+ years of work experience benchmarking.
- 2+ Experience developing, integrating and measuring software performance on AWS, Azure, and/or GCP Cloud.
- Experience deploying software in the cloud.
- Expertise with one or more of the following: SpecJBB, Spark, TensorFlow, Cassandra, PyTorch, Kafka or Media Encoding.

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. **In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.**
