.As a SENIOR COATINGS FORMULATOR, you will develop packaging coating formulations, ensuring product quality and cost efficiency.You will comply with the processes established for operating the Technical Laboratory and solve technical and quality problems throughout the supply chain. This includes supporting the launch of new products in the customer's line and the production process to ensure product performance during testing and commercialization.You will report to the Packaging Technical Manager.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop coating formulations for the Packaging department.Adapt coating formulations to improve product performance on customer lines.Improve formulations to maintain a high level of performance of formulations approved for manufacturing.Propose alternatives for formulation cost reduction.Manage activities to ensure efficient operation during the launch of new products.Guarantee a quick response to quality problems in the customer's line or in production.Qualifications4+ years of experience in research and development in Packaging Coatings.Fluent in English.Familiarity with quality tools.Knowledge of the physical-chemical characteristics of solvents, resins, pigments, and additives used in coating formulations.PPG pay ranges and benefits can vary by location, allowing us to compensate employees competitively in different geographic markets.
