.**The **Role**:Sr. Consultant Emissions and Energy Transition **.**The Location**:Mexico City**The Team**:The Americas Energy Transition Consulting team works with clients in the traditional and new energy sectors to develop action plans for emissions reduction, evaluating low carbon scenarios impacts on their portfolios, developing emission baselines and diagnostics, carrying out economic assessment of transition activities. We also work with Governments to help them develop ESG strategies and policy.**The Impact**:This role will contribute to the execution of our team's projects for private and public sector clients with a focus on their transition to low-carbon energy resources, including techno-economic analysis of emissions management options and decarbonization opportunities, as well as developing new low-carbon energy resources.**Responsibilities**:- Work on a project team with other consultants, under the direction of the project manager- Identify internal and external information sources, gather, and synthesize data- Efficiently analyze large quantities of data to produce insights using data analytics tools or programming languages- Present findings concisely back to the team- Build and run analytical models as required for consulting projects (e.G., Excel, Python, others)- Participate in client or industry interviews and extract key takeaways- Participate in client meetings and contribute by presenting aspects of the analysis**What We're Looking For**:- Four to six years of experience in industry, consulting, or finance environments, in areas related to emissions estimates and management, environmental management and/or plant operations- Experience in management consulting will be a significant plus- Minimum qualifications are BSc. in engineering, preferably in chemical, environmental or process engineering.
