**What does a great Cyber Security IDM Engineer do?**
As a valued member of the Cyber Security Engineering team, you will collaborate on the discovery, definition, design, implementation, testing, and deployment of the corporate identity management system. This is an identity and access management position integrating Okta Workflow Identity Cloud (OIE) with corporate systems in compliance with multiple regulatory requirements and company policy.
We expect team members in this role to have a strong engineering mindset, creative troubleshooting skills, and commitment to engineering disciplines. The ability to work on tasks independently as well as in cooperation with team members and other organizational peers is a must.
This role will encompass working in all aspects of Okta identity and access management and governance, as well as API-level integration with HR Systems, Service Now, Active Directory, RedHat Directory Services, and other corporate systems.
**Responsibilities include**:
- Integrating external systems with Okta and coordinating with other teams and SME's
- Creating and maintaining custom Okta Workflows to support business processes.
- Creating and maintaining custom Okta Workflow APIs
- Coding and maintaining automated regression unit tests
- Scripting integrations, validations, automations, and common tasks
- Writing and maintaining documentation, diagrams, flow charts, etc.
- Owning the design, documentation, and execution of projects and tasks, track against project timelines and requirements.
- Generating ideas to improve overall system design and/or streamline delivery of product/system to generate efficiencies/standardization
- Building and managing lab instances of Active Directory, Certificate Authority, RedHat Directory Service, and Okta on-prem components.
- 3 rd -Tier support, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
**Required Experience**:
- Highly technical individual possessing expertise and experience working across multiple components
- 4-year technical degree (Information Systems, Computer Science, etc.) or equivalent experience and education
- Experience in coding C#, Java, or similar language
**Preferred Experience**:
- History of working in IT disciplines such as Operations, Information Security, System Engineering, etc.
- Creating and maintaining Okta workflows
- Using the Okta API
- Solid knowledge of PowerShell
- JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
- Knowledge of SAML, OIDC, OAuth and other authentication protocols
- Identity and Access Management concepts and products
- Django
- API Management administration
- Developing, deploying or supporting Active Directory domains
