.Senior Data Engineer - SQLThis role has been designated as 'Edge', which means you will primarily work outside of an HPE office.**Senior Data Engineer - SQL****How You´ll make your mark**- Gathers and processes raw, structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data using batch and real-time data processing frameworks.- Understands and enforces appropriate data master management techniques.- Ensures data quality and implements tools and frameworks for automating the identification of data quality issues.- Work with internal and external data providers on data validation providing feedback and making customized changes to data feeds and data mappings.- Understands the challenges that the analytics organization faces in their day-to-day work and partner with them to design viable data solutions.- Recommends improvements to processes, technology, and interfaces that improve the effectiveness of the team and reduce technical debt.- Implements and optimizes data solutions in enterprise data warehouses and big data repositories.- Installs, maintains, monitors, and supports business intelligence, distributed computation, and big data analytics tools.- Provides ongoing support, monitoring, and maintenance of deployed products.- Actively works with less experienced data engineers providing technical guidance and oversight.- Actively participates in the engineering community, staying up to date on new data technologies and best practices and shares insights with others in the organization.**About you**:- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 4+ years' experience in a related field.- 4 years of performing analysis and building data processes experience- Must be comfortable navigating large, complex and possibly disparate data sets and transforming and/or joining from those sets using SQL.- Must have expertise with writing **SQL queries from scratch or altering existing code.**:- 4-5 years working on data warehousing (SQL)- Expertise in software engineering concepts- Excellent experience in data processing using Python- Experience working on analytics tools and solutions using Microsoft R- Experience in front end UI/UX technologies like React, JS, HTML will be an added advantage- Strong in user requirements gathering, maintenance, and support**We offer**:- A competitive salary and extensive social benefits- Diverse and dynamic work environment- Work-life balance and support for career development- An amazing life inside the element!
