Senior Database Administrator 4-IT-2200074C**Applicants are required to read, write, and speak the following languages**: English**Preferred Qualifications****Overview****Key Responsibilities**- Install, configure and administer Oracle databases- Manage schemas, tables, indexes, etc. in Oracle databases- Performance tuning of Application Databases and Queries- Hands-on development of SQL, PLSQL, Linux bash shell scripts to query and migrate data in/out of databases including other Oracle export/import utilities- Communicate and work with product, development, QA, and management teams effectively to discuss and develop data migration and other tools and utilities- Develop clear and precise documentation of tools, etc. usage for other fellow developers- Take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures- Drive a customer-first culture that keeps the customer at the forefront of decision making- Lead a holistic and integrated approach to providing data integrity, information confidentiality, and service availability- Define and monitor performance indicators and collaborate with DevOps teams- Work within an agile team comprised with individuals with varying expertise to effectively complete objectives**Preferred Qualifications**- **7 to 10 years of hands-on Oracle DBA and developer experience**:- B.S. in computer engineering or STEM degree, or equivalent work experience- **Proficiency in SQL, PLSQL, Linux bash scripting**:- Work independently and sense of ownership for their responsibilities as well as communicate effectively and work across multiple geographically-diverse functional teams- A strong will to learn new technologies and the ability to quickly adapt to changing technologies and direction is important- Familiarity with Python, Java, JDBC, JPA, Jenkins Pipelines, GIT LAB, XML, JSON and DevOps processes desired- Cloud experience (SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS) is strongly desired- Experience in Database performance monitoring and tuning- Strong technical acumen, creativity, communication, and interpersonal skills.**Detailed Description and Job Requirements**As a Senior Database Administrator, you are instrumental in researching, evaluating, designing, testing, recommending, and planning implementation of new versions of Oracle database and database tools.
