**You Are**:
**The Opportunity**:
- Maintains focus on assuring the highest levels of quality of our Production SaaS solution.
- Investigates elevated technical issues and attempt to resolve alone.
- Creates SQL queries to research cause of issues.
- Build, Maintain and Administer Infrastructure for Data using Infrastructure and Configuration as Code
- Support any release to production using modern delivary methods using pipelines etc.
- Work on delivery roadmaps internally and externally with various stakeholders which will involve development using various devops tools.
- Executes Root Cause Analysis on issues, culminating in a detailed understanding of what went wrong, why it went wrong, and what should be done to fix the issue for good.
- Uses Forensic troubleshooting tools and techniques to drive to a detailed understanding of all issues.
- Interacts with Product Managers, DBAs, and Developers
- Help Build solutions repository that can be reused by others.
- Monitors SaaS Application Health and End User Experience using Dynatrace and SentryOne
- Possesses strong organizational, multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
- Supports and triage technical issues requiring the ability to understand and respond to customer requirements.
- Performs Incident and service request ticket analysis and tracking including decisions to escalate issues as needed.
- Follows all Change Management processes and requirements.
- Creates and edit standard operations procedures and other supporting documentation reflecting the current operational environment. Facilitator of knowledge transfer
This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.
**What you need**:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science and/or 5 plus years of MS SQL database administration experience
- Working knowledge of MS SQL including replication, AOAG, and MS clustering
- Advanced performance troubleshooting skill set (Query performance, VM Performance, Monitoring Tools like SentryOne, Dynatrace, Azure Monitor etc, SysInternals Suite tools like Process Monitor, and Process Explorer)
- Experience working in an environment which develops and relies on DevOps tools like Terraform, Ansible, Git and Azure DevOps pipelines
- Hands-on experience working on scripting tools like powershell to automate various process
- Advanced working experience with Azure (Database Services, Log Analytics, IaaS, PaaS)
- Proficient in database backup and recovery procedure
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience
- Dependable, motivated and a quick learner
- Strong customer relations, documentation and oral communication skills
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality Able to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
