The below responsibilities are meant to encompass both individual effort, and building and managing a team that handles the tasks.- Architect a manufacturing strategy, in the short, medium and long term, to support the company's organizational goals related to production volume output, system cost, manufacturing timeline and product quality- Develop internal company procedures to support transition of equipment to production e.G. creating and refining BOMs, developing engineering workflows, standards and documents for manufacturing planning, and performance, issue and quality tracking methodology- Develop and implement BOM structures that enable configurable to order production with lead times as little as 2-3 days- Work with planning teams to identify best manufacturing strategies to enable lead times as agreed to with sales- Provide guidance to best in class processes for the manufacturing aspects new product introduction- Work with external vendors and internal production/deployment teams to design, implement and scale new production lines and processes- Develop and implement quality and acceptance test programs for both suppliers and in-house work- Providing oversight and direction for manufacturing test engineering to insure customers receive quality tested products- Foster a culture of quality, speed, collaboration and innovation**Requirements**:- BS degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Systems Engineering or equivalent- 10-15 years engineering experience- 3+ years of leadership experience- Experience working with Contract Manufacturers and Global Supply Chains- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment- Working knowledge of industrial electronics and/or mechanical design- Agile and JIRA experience- Ability to travel up to 25% to US
