We are searching for the best talent for SENIOR EHS ENGINEER to be in Juarez, Horizontes plant.

JOB SUMMARY
- Responsible for implementing the Environment programs in BWI.
- Reports directly to the EHS Manager

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Under limited supervision and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:
1. POLICIES: To know and comply with the policies and procedures of BWI related to the activities performed in the area of responsibility.

2. FORMATION: Completes the formation in the area of responsibility within the allowed time. The formation is necessary for the changes in the existing policies and procedures, for the new tasks and for the implementation of new policies and procedures. Completes periodical retraining required in areas like safety and environment.

3. SAFETY: Follows all the safety policies of the company and other safety measures in the work area. Promotes safety to all associates in the work area.

4. ENVIRONMENT: Follows all the Environment policies, Local, State and Federal requirements.

5. EHS&S Senior Engineer: Can perform all or a combination of these responsibilities

5.1 Provides leadership as the key contact of health and safety as well as environment for the site and the management of the place of business of a moderate size; leads the Safety and Environment and industrial hygiene program in a large location or various locations; or provides ergonomics leadership to the site and the management in multiple locations of big businesses.

5.3 Develops and/or offers Health and Safety sensitization programs of technical formation and in support of the danger/risk profile of the company. This is to include the association with the personnel of Health Services to complement and support the efforts to offer education and sensitization programs of intervention that promotes healthy lifestyles.

5.4 ensures the compliance of the environmental local, state, federal and corporate regulations

5.5 Ensures the development of an approach to the matters of ergonomics management in compliance with the regulatory requirements and the J&J policy for safety at the place of work, industrial hygiene.

5.6 Monitors the progress of the management action plans, providing leadership, technical support and professional experience to ensure the company complies with the business franchise and the site goals; ensures that all the records are maintained adequately and the reports are prepared/presented on time and manner.

5.7 Provides leadership as key contact of health and safety for the site and the management of the place of business of a moderate size. Leads all the components of the EHSS program in the large location or multiple locations; provides ergonomics leadership for the administration of the sites in multiple places of big businesses.

5.9 Develops and/or offers EHSS sensitization programs of technical formation and in support of the danger/risk profile of the company. This is to conclude the association with the health services personnel to complement and support the efforts to offer education and sensitization programs of intervention that promotes healthy lifestyles.

5.10 Ensures the development of an approach to the matters of ergonomics management in compliance with the regulatory requirements and the safety at work, industrial hygiene and/or Environment policy of J&J. The measures include not having any violations to the regulatory inspections in safety or environment.

5.11 Monitors the progress of the management action plans, providing leadership, technical support and professional experience to ensure that the company complies with the business franchise and site goals; examples include incident rate goals and finalization of the management action plan within the due dates. Ensures that all the records are maintained adequately and the reports are prepared/presented on time and manner.

5.12 Facilitates the incident, injury and process of investigation of the illness; complies with all the measurable objectives of the process.
