Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Senior EHS Engineer.
**What you'll do**:
Job Summary
This position provides support to EHS.
Will review gaps, develop solutions and maintain safety system running.
Individual is accountable for: supporting and directing EHS activities at his/her location(s); EHS reporting of metrics; MESH programs implementations and deployment; assuring closure of MESH and regulatory agency findings on a timely basis; completion of required EHS related training; directing actions during crisis; support CT-PAT & OEA certifications, creating a strong EHS culture that engages employees throughout the site in EHS teams and processes.
**Responsibilities**:
A.
Helps site in achieving EHS targets & objectives through the deployment of EHS programs, site and corporate initiatives among employees.
B. Facilitates risk assessment at the location to identify critical EHS hazards and aspects.
Works with FLL to create targets and objectives based on key EHS risks.
C. Works to guide MESH element champions and facilitate their engagement in ownership of the MESH elements.
D. Drives and promotes zero incident EHS culture throughout site.
E. Creates and facilitates EHS engagement through EHS teams and committees needed to accomplish the established targets and objectives for the year.
F. Works with leadership team and MESH element champions to complete an annual evaluation of compliance for EHS country, state, and local regulations.

G. Pursues third party recognition for programs that establish the site and Eaton's EHS program as world class.
H. Uses established EHS data processes such as MESH Prism to manage data such as injuries and illnesses, environmental metrics, risk assessments, EHS action items and other pertinent information.

Helps create EHS training matrices and assure that all training is completed and tracked.
J.
Work with site leadership team and facilities to ensure that all key EHS operational controls are in place, on a PM program, and that EHS action items are resolved on a timely basis.
K. Supports C-TPAT, OEA developing and updating procedures related.

**Qualifications**:
Education level required
University degree required, with an emphasis in environmental, health and safety program management and employee training.
Years and area of experience required
3-5 years of experience in Environment, Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene program management.
Technical knowledge
EHS related technical knowledge or experience (Eg.
Working at height, machine guarding, etc.)
Emergency response program knowledge and experience
Desired ISO 14001 Internal Auditor certification
