.TasksAs a member of our Engineering team, the Embedded SW Engineer will be responsible for creating value in the projects based in an embedded Linux environment through the use of mature established processes as well as agile methods and tools. He/she will work in a multicultural environment in collaboration with other disciplines with a strong focus on quality.As a SW developer, responsibilities will include but not limit to:- Perform Software requirements analysis and develop/enhance requirement specifications- Develop or enhance architecture and design specifications.- Develop enhancements to perform debugging of open source and proprietary software and related standards running on embedded Linux using NXP / Qualcomm processors- Debug and problem solving for issues identified at all stages of product development.- Support of peer reviews, walkthroughs and Inspections (Static and Dynamic) through all development stages.- Support meetings with cross functional project team, software/test team and customers as needed.**Qualifications**:Required Qualifications- BS: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related.- Proficient C language coding skills- Embedded Linux development and debugging on prototype hardware using ARM processors.- Hands on experience with either Cypress, Marvell, Broadcom, Qualcomm or CSR's chips and host software.- Experience with wired and/or wireless Network technologies ( TCP, UDP, IP Routing, DNS, LAN, VLAN, WAN, Ethernet, Firewall, etc)Preferred Qualifications- At least 3 years professional experience in Automotive- Object-Oriented Programming- Good communication, team working and Fluent English skills- Knowledge of: A-SPICE, MISRA and Agile Methodology- Knowledge on Rhapsody, DOORS, Jira, CM Synergy, CS Synergy, GIT, Gerrit, Collaborator.About usContinental develops pioneering technologies and services for sustainable and connected mobility of people and their goods.
