As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer at Plexus, you will be part of a team developing embedded software for products across a wide range of industries and at all phases of product development. You will also collaborate closely with other disciplines, including electrical, mechanical, user-centered design, and others.Key Job Accountabilities:- Develops engineering/product concepts that are innovative, high-quality, cost-appropriate, and satisfy all stakeholder's (customer, manufacturing, material, agency, etc.) needs and requirements through an established area of technical specialty and mentorship of others on the global discipline team.- Demonstrates skill in the full product realization process, as it applies to their role.- Demonstrates the ability to work independently in multiple phases for the Product Realization Process, without direction from mentors or functional management.- Assists project management in the development of proposals to ensure accurate technical, staffing, budgetary, and schedule content.- Supports the Lean culture and effectively utilizes Lean Sigma concepts and tools to identify and eliminate waste while improving processes.Technical Qualifications- Hands on experience working with Embedded software / ARM Microcontrollers (Sensors & Actuators)- Working experience with C++ & STL- Deep understanding of Object Oriented Design & Object Oriented Programming (OOD/OOP)- Familiar with common OO Design Patterns and principlesEducation/Experience Qualifications:- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.- Five (5) years of related experience is required.- An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered._Other Qualifications:- Strong Analytical Skills- Intermediate Cross-Discipline Development Knowledge- Strong understanding of Structured Design- Ability to develop good working relationships with team members and customers- This document does not represent a contract of employment and is not intended to capture every possible assignment the incumbent could be asked to perform_
