The Senior Employee Relations Partner is responsible for executing the Employee Relations strategy and operations ensuring an efficient and effective customer-oriented service for employees and managers to create a positive & productive work environment. The role requires a broad understanding of Employee Relations, country-specific employment law, HR best practices, HR operations, performance management, talent management, and the ability to support both employees and management in various HR-related matters in remote locations.
Your responsibilities The role is responsible for fostering a positive work environment by developing, implementing, and overseeing employee relations programs, policies, and procedures.This role involves managing employee grievances, conducting investigations, providing guidance to management on employee relations issues, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints, harassment, discrimination, and other workplace issues.Ensure that all employee relations practices are in compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations.Provide guidance and support to managers and HR professionals on handling employee relations issues, including performance management, disciplinary actions, terminations, and redundancy actions.Implement globally key HR processes related to the employee's lifecycle, such as HR Operations, Performance Management, Talent Management, among other key HR processes.Provide advisory services to employees on topics such as engagement, succession planning, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans.Proactively seek and resolve issues that involve employees, their leaders, and unions (where applicable).Recommend and suggest improvements in productivity through process reviews, innovations, and new technologies including identifying automation and shared services opportunities.Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, support meetings with unions and collective bargaining agreements as required (and when applicable).Develop and implement strategies to improve employee relations and promote a positive work culture.Create, update, and enforce employee relations policies and procedures in alignment with company goals and legal requirements.Mediate and resolve employee grievances, disputes, and conflicts in a fair and timely manner.Implement programs and initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.Identify opportunities for improving employee relations processes and recommend solutions.Drive operational excellence, permanently monitoring our KPI's, SLA's, goals execution, and looking for constant improvement.Promote a culture of safety.Detail-oriented and accurate in work.Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.Collaborative and able to work effectively in a team environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism.Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.Assist in resolving employee issues and grievances, escalating as necessary.Support the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives.Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.Educate employees on available benefits and assist with enrollment and claims issues.Ensure HR practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment laws and make recommendations for policy updates as needed.Ensure that HR policies are consistently applied across the organization.What you bring 10-15 years of experience in HR, as an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner supporting organizations with a global presence in a matrixed environment responsible for Employee Relations.Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
