Transforming the World with InformationMicron Technology is a leader in memory and storage solutions, accelerating information into intelligence.Senior Engineer RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to provide high-quality engineering services for our Global Facilities Engineering department.This role will support Micron Semiconductor Manufacturing sites across the network, focusing on Global Standardization, Innovation, Reliability, Performance, and Sustainability.Technical Expertise: Provide consultation and support to facilities teams as a Technical Field Domain Expert.Collaboration: Work with internal partners to analyze system designs, identify improvements, and implement best practices.Problem Analysis: Support sites with problem analysis using standard tools and methodologies.Benchmarking: Benchmark within and external to Micron sites on engineering best practices.Project Support and LeadershipThe selected candidate will provide design and construction project support, leadership, and expertise to the Micron Global, Regional, and Site Design and Construction project teams.This includes developing, reviewing, and maintaining global design and construction standards, ensuring communication with local collaborators, and monitoring progress during construction.Design Development: Develop system design concepts for respective field systems.Project Coordination: Coordinate consultant resources, ensure scope meets customer needs, and monitor progress.Global Initiatives Program SupportThe successful candidate will lead and own global facilities programs and initiatives, including establishing objectives, roadmaps, and implementation plans.This includes leading global sustainability programs in support of Micron's corporate sustainability goals and initiatives.Program Management: Develop, review, and maintain BKM documents, collect lessons learned, and incorporate feedback into global standards.Sustainability: Lead global facilities sustainability programs in support of Micron's corporate sustainability goals.Job RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering.Experience: Minimum 7-10 years of experience in semiconductor and/or facilities-related industry.Technical Expertise: Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing and facilities systems.This role does not involve finalizing sales agreements, executing sales contracts, or participating in pricing negotiations.
