The EC assists in the implementation and enforcement of standards and policies to support environmental and regulatory compliance and provide guidance for operations, maintenance, and construction teams. In this role, you will complete environmental inspections and performance analysis, monitor metrics, and assist teams in the implementation of Amazon environmental standards. The EC works with internal and external partners that include government entities, contractors, consultants, design, construction, operations, and other key stakeholders.This is a hands-on position that includes time spent in the yard and on the floor of a busy fulfillment center conducting inspections and audits; taking samples; providing guidance to other employees; ensuring proper waste classification; and dealing with multiple departments and all levels of employees throughout the operation
