**Senior Estimator - Transmission, Stations & Distribution**
Location: Av. Ejercito Nacional 154, Col. Anzures, Mexico City, Mexico
**Salary**:$60,000 MXN
**General information**:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
Lenguage: Fluent in English
Experience: Minimum 6 years of overall experience, with at least 2 years specifically in transmission, stations, or distribution EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) or construction contractors estimating or fieldwork.
Industry: Construction, Engineering (transmissions, stations, or distribution)
Certifcations: May be required to obtain an OSHA 10-hour certification, preferential but not mandatory.

**Job Duties**:
- Develop factored and bottoms up Class 5, 4 and 3 estimates for transmission and distribution projects.
- Lead estimating strategy and implementation efforts.
- Develop estimate schedules to manage workload and ensure timely completion of estimates.
- Review RFP and engineering documents for gaps and overlaps in scope of work.
- Responsible for detailed documentation of quantity take-offs and constructability analysis.
- Review and approve project summary schedules for validity.
- Develop risk registers and assist risk review process.
- Review commercial terms and conditions and address risk issues.
- Ensure compliance with estimating methodology to produce quality estimates.
- Lead project team review for estimating quantities and scope of project.
- Review and incorporate quotes on bonds and insurance.
- Lead subcontractor pre-qualification, solicitation, and bid reviews.
- Estimate general conditions, indirect costs, and review with project management team.
- Present the estimate to internal and external clients.
- Provide final recommendations as to fee, contingency, and escalation.
- Train and mentor staff.
- Update cost history and database management.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
