This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and be responsible for the financial controlling of our entities across the Americas. Your main stakeholders will be in the US, Brazil, Mexico, and Denmark. You will lead a small team located in Mexico and Brazil, and be supported by an outsourced service provider in India handling all finance operations for your entities. You will report to the Head of Cement Finance, located in Denmark.Together with your team, you will be responsible for controlling FLSmidth Cement entities and financial activities in the Americas. This includes ensuring that financial reporting is completed accurately and on time, performing financial analysis, coordinating the local budget and forecasting processes, overseeing the internal and external activities of record keeping and reporting to management and Group Finance.Your responsibilities:In support of the business partners locally and globally, assist in the coordination, preparation, and analysis of annual budget and quarterly estimates.Oversee the month-end close process by reviewing business results, and provide analysis of Net Working Capital elements including WIP, Inventory, AR, and AP.Ensure the quality and timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting using OneStream/Hyperion and validation of the quality of the underlying data prepared by Financial Shared Service Center.Ensure clear data structures in our ERP system (Oracle) to enable maximum transparency to cost and P/L ownership in a Global matrix setup.Leading annual external audits.Provide ad hoc analytical support as required, to include preparation of financial models to support business cases.Administer and ensure compliance of corporate policies, IFRS and local statutory requirements.Partner with FSS to address periodic issues and work to improve operational procedures.What you bring:BS/Accounting/BSc/MBA or equivalent education.Minimum of 7-10 years' experience as a Controller.Self-starter comfortable working in a dynamic environment with evolving roles and responsibilities.Experience working in a matrix organization and with global colleagues, especially remote support teams, is a must.Attention to detail, problem-solving, and strong organization and communication skills.Manufacturing accounting experience is highly desirable, especially POC and WIP concepts.Ability to work in a collaborative decision-making environment.Oracle and/or Hyperion experience are a huge plus.Our Benefits include:Flexibility policy on remote work options - but must live within a driving distance to our office.Generous health package including health, dental, disability, life, and voluntary insurance options.Time to recharge through PTO, plus 10 annual holidays, and parental maternity leave
