We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to design, develop, customize, configure, enhance, implement, support, maintain, and/or administer complex computerized finance-related systems. The ideal candidate will operate across multiple projects simultaneously, performing a variety of tasks from addressing production issues to soliciting functional requirements from business stakeholders.
Responsibilities: Design, Develop, and Maintain Systems: Develop, customize, and enhance financial modules to ensure they operate effectively and efficiently. Data Analysis: Prepare and analyze complex data sets and statistical reports. Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting and associated systems, processes, and policies. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with IT and Accounting/Finance to ensure business requirements are met. Project Management: Lead technology projects and ongoing complex support items, ensuring minimal production defects and tying back to customer impacts. Compliance: Ensure compliance with required standards and obtain necessary approvals throughout the project lifecycle. Communication: Communicate effectively with team members, customers, partners, and management, including conducting requirement walkthroughs and sprint reviews, reporting project status, enabling vendor solutions, and providing accurate documentation. Operational Readiness: Spearhead operational readiness, organizational change management, solution capability, and delivery management. Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and provide guidance and education to other team members. Posibility to work from the office in Guadalajara when needed. (About once/twice every two months). Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or Information Systems preferred. Experience: Extensive experience with business and systems analysis (8+ years) and experience working in a production support environment with rapid response requirements. Familiarity with RPA tools such as UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, etc. Experience in integrating RPA with financial systems. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, or similar. Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems such as SAP, Oracle Financials, Microsoft Dynamics. Ability to customize and configure financial modules within these systems. Advanced knowledge of SQL for database queries and manipulation. Familiarity with BI (Business Intelligence) tools such as Tableau, Power BI. Experience working in an agile environment (Scrum, Kanban). Use of project management tools like Jira, Trello, Asana. Experience in production support environments with rapid response requirements. Familiarity with incident and problem management, as well as root cause analysis.
