With the construction of its Technical Center in Plymouth Township, Robert Bosch LLC expands its presence in the metro Detroit area. The center houses research and development as well as engineering space for the company.
Seeking a motivated Sr. Financial Analyst for a highly visible position within a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for:
- Analyze, interpret financial data, support and act as primary Financial Analyst for the Business Unit "Internal Business" (IB) in the Electrified Motion (EM) division in NA.
- Set up the IB business model in the systems, for motors' sales from the Toluca plant to the US Albion and local After-Market & Power Solutions Value Streams.
- Investigate variances, and their impact on planned objectives.
- Analyze, understand in depth, and challenge product costs, project calculations and investment calculations.
- Present financial results including month end results, forecasts, and business plan to regional and central leadership.
- Furnish timely communication to the Regional Business Unit (RBU) leader and global controller on business issues, providing supporting documentation and recommending alternative course of action.
- Focus on continuous business process improvements, challenge current processes and procedures to determine if improvements are a potential, and consequently implement process improvements.
- Be a partner to the plant controlling and an advisor to the leadership.
The position is located in the Toluca plant, with target line to RBU Controlling Manager and working closely to the RBU Leader, both in Michigan/US.
**Qualifications** Required**:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Minimum 3+ years accounting and/or controlling experience.
- Availability to travel to US for 1 to 2 weeks at a time, at least 4 times / year.
- Excellent English communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
**Desired**:
- Bachelor's Degree in business, economics, accounting and/or finance.
- 5+ years' experience in finance / accounting within Automotive/Manufacturing industries.
- Strong analytical skills.
- FP&A experience preferred.
