Service Manager, Tech.L PlatformYour role and responsibilitiesAs a Senior Global Directory Services Specialist, you will be responsible for the management of global ABB Active Directory and related services. Reporting to the Global Directory Services Manager, you will play a crucial role in all areas associated with Global Directory Services. The work model for the role is: #LI-remote. This role contributes to the IS Domains division in San Luis Potosi. You will be mainly accountable for: Managing and maintaining Domain Controllers and other Directory Services related servers including hardening, patching, backup, recovery, upgrades, and day-to-day operations.Managing and maintaining Directory Services like Active Directory, synchronization (MIM, AADConnect), authentication (ADFS, PTA), backup (Quest), DNS (MS, Infoblox, Akamai), and DHCP (MS).Improving Directory Services with a strong focus on automation, monitoring, optimization, and consolidation.Responding to incidents and driving the resolution.Request fulfillment.Implementing changes.Writing technical documentation, work instructions, and operational procedures.Managing core Directory Services and collaborating with other suppliers responsible for UAM part of Directory Service together with other parts of ABB IS landscape.Ensuring Directory Services are compliant with IS policies, compliance, architecture standards, and any other applicable ABB Group Directives and Guidelines.Maintaining constant dialogue with ABB Infosec, ABB compliance, and ABB Hosting teams to ensure Directory Services are fit for customer needs without compromising security.Maintaining constant dialogue with business and other IS managers to ensure alignment and integration with global IS domain strategy.Working in a multi-national company in the follow-the-sun model.Qualifications for the roleAbove 5 years of experience and extensive knowledge of Windows Servers/Active Directory/DNS in enterprise environments.Extensive hands-on experience in implementing and administering Windows Servers, GPOs, user accounts, groups, sites, audit logs, and hardening.Experience with sync engines like MIM and Azure AD Connect.Experience with Microsoft authentication services like ADFS, PTA, PHS.Experience with Microsoft DHCP and DNS.Good knowledge of scripting (mainly Powershell).Experience with Entra ID.Experience with Quest Active Roles is a plus.Experience with Infoblox is a plus.Experience with ITSM tools (Service-Now) is a plus.Experience in using SIEM systems (Splunk) is a plus.Fluent spoken and written English, good communication skills
