Always collaborating with cross-functional project teams, our developers are adaptable problem-solvers with a client-oriented mindset. As a Senior Golang Developer at Endava, you will design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications using Golang.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and launch new features.
Write clean, efficient code, and ensure top performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Your role includes identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks, fixing bugs, conducting code reviews, and enhancing coding standards.
You will develop back-end components for web applications and integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Key skills required are strong proficiency in Golang, experience with concurrency and parallel processing, web development, RESTful APIs, and familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes. Strong problem-solving, debugging, communication, and collaboration skills are highly valued.
Designs, estimates, and implements technical solutions for medium/high complexity applications.
Participates actively in all phases of the application development lifecycle.
Collaborates with various project stakeholders to provide support for clarifying requirements, processes, architecture, and priorities.
Recommends and promotes IT industry standards, tools, and practices (DevOps, etc.)
to achieve well-engineered software products.
Proposes improvements and escalates risks/issues related to development activities.
Participates in the review of the work done by development team members.
Learns and applies new technologies, practices, and tools as appropriate to the project.
Participates in internal and external tech communities, events, etc.
Shares experience and knowledge gained from projects.
Qualifications At least 4-5+ years of experience working with the Go programming language Strong written and communication skills with proven fluency in English Popular Revel Router packages, such as Gorilla Mux, are examples of Go web frameworks Good understanding of version control systems like Git or similar Solid experience with testing and mocking frameworks Understanding of Go Routine and Channel patterns Capability to write compelling and tidy Godoc comments The templating language of Go Godep, Sltr, and other dependency management tools Experience with Stringer, Go's code generation tools Experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., SCRUM, KANBAN).
Good problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
