**The Role**
As Hardware engineer in Visteon you will be responsible of multiple activities related with audio automotive products development:
- Develop and maintain HW schematics and bill of material (BOM)
- Support layout activities
- Manage projects according to timing and deliveries
- Manage HW design and changes based on costumer requirements
- Control HW issues during all the process
- Participate in technical reviews
- Understand all technical principles applied to the product
- Interface with system requirements, Software, Mechanical and manufacturing group to ensure quality of final product
- Control and maintain the process related to different products including documents like DFMEA
- Manage program resources
- Review and analyze automotive OEM requirements.
**Basic qualifications**
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical /Electronic Engineering Degree or similar.
- 7 years experience in electronics development.
- Experience que EDA tools
- Problem solver skills
- Knowledge on circuit simulation preferred Audio analog an digital
- Understanding of EMI/EMC fundamentals and the relationship between physical layout and electrical performance
- Preferred experience in some of this topics:
- high-speed signals and interfaces (USB/HDMI/DDR/Ethernet/LVDS)
- Switching mode power supply's
- EMC debugging
- Digital signals/microcontrollers/GPUs
- Antenna design
- Audio interface and design
- Schematic and ECAD design
- Worst Case Analysis Circuit
- System/Circuit simulation
**Other desirable qualifications**
- Experience on selection and use of EE test equipment.
- Bases on Functional Safety requirements
- Good understanding of RF wireless communication test standards and requirements
- EMI/EMC design and testing experience for Emissions and Immunity test standards
- Hands-on experience with EMI/EMC test, equipment, electromagnetic coupling path analysis and debug
