Listed on the London Stock Exchange; Member of the FTSE 250 Index.ResponsibilitiesProvide HR leadership and direction to achieve business objectives by administering, developing, and implementing programs in the areas of compensation, recruiting, industrial relations, employee benefits, payroll, communication, employee recognition, training, development, and EHS programs. The role is an opportunity to join a global, dynamic, Hi-Tech team, supporting the medical and aerospace industries. We are the industry leader in the development and manufacture of ceramic to metal seals for both Aerospace and Medical markets. We help improve the quality of life with our implantable medical components, and we ensure the safety of travelers by developing multiple components for the Aerospace industry. The Senior Manager position will support two sites with over 1000 employees and have full HR accountability as well as lead an HR Team. The ideal incumbent will enjoy being hands-on and visible to the Site employees, with proven experience supporting dynamic work environments with complex initiatives, including HR investigations, implementing standardized processes, and actively engaging and communicating with employees and Site Leadership.Develop programs to enhance employee engagement, improve relations, and offer employee support.Implement and continuously improve plant HR policies, procedures, and programs.Mediator, counselor, and facilitator in resolving disputes between employees and their supervisors and managers.Educate and train supervisors and employees on policies, processes, and guidelines in alignment with the regional HR strategy.Manage employee transactions including hiring, terminations, discipline, and performance management.Drive the Performance Management and Talent development process.Manage and update employee data and HR systems and complete necessary metrics and reporting.Prepare and process various reports ensuring compliance with company and government regulations.Support overall Benefit programs including health, life, employee assistance, Pension Plans, and retiree benefits. This includes support and training for safety and educational development.Administer Family Medical Leave Act in accordance with federal law.Support the deployment of safety programs.Support administration of Workers Compensation claims and advise managers on claims management and disputes.Communicate and track corporate compliance programs.Perform special projects and assignments as required.Proactively seek to understand business needs and propose proactive solutions for resolution and to drive continuous improvement.Counsel and advise the site and functional business leaders on matters related to Talent Management, Succession Planning, Training and Development, Feedback and Coaching, Employee Relations matters, and Promotion decisions.Shape and manage Employee Engagement initiatives, Communication plans, and culture-boosting activities.Walk the Site Production environment on a daily basis and actively engage with Site employees.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in human resources management or related field preferred.Must be bilingual Spanish/English and speak English fluently.5+ years of experience as an HR Manager within a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated success in leading the HR function across multiple locations.Comprehensive understanding of Mexico local, state, and federal employment laws.Experience coaching, leading, and developing others.Exceptional interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills.General knowledge of employment law.Be up to date on HR policies and procedures; on-going education in HR field to keep up with federal/state/local changes. Maintain employee confidentiality.Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.Must be able to partner with subordinates, peers, and leadership across all functions and externally.Must be able to follow the company's safety, ethics, sexual harassment, discrimination, and general employee policies.Excellent communication skills and demonstrated teamwork and leadership abilities are essential.Occasionally perform tasks not described in this job description to meet the requirements of this position.Additional RequirementsMust be familiar with Microsoft Office.Must have knowledge of labor laws and employee benefit compliance requirements.Must have knowledge of payroll and tax regulations.Must be able to clearly present ideas and reports in written and verbal format.Must be able to work well with subordinates, peers, and superiors in all departments of the Company.Must be able to work well with external contacts of the Company.Must have good time management, planning, and negotiation skills.Must adhere to all Company policies.Physical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
