Description:Mercer is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Mexico office and be onsite 3 days a week:Senior IT Project ManagerWhat is in it for you?A company with a strong Brand and strong results to match.Culture of internal mobility, collaboration and valued partnership from the business.Employee Resource Groups which provide access to leaders, relevant volunteer and mentoring opportunities and interactions with counterparts in industry groups and client organizations.Entitled to vacation, floating holidays, time off to give back to your community, sick days, and national holidays (with early dismissal).Enjoy unlimited access to a vast range of courses and professional training through Udemy to continually enhance your skills and knowledge.We will count on you to:Program and project management experience and extensive expertise in managing projects using agile methodology and tools.Demonstrates engagement and ownership of project(s) and drives delivery.Creates and maintains all documents that support the PMO Methodology such as detailed risk plan and project plan including resources, scope, schedule, cost, assumptions, dependencies, etc.Keeps plans updated through the project lifecycle.Collates and tracks program status information and project artifacts at various stages of a project's lifecycle (finances, resources).Ensures methodology compliance, auditing and tracking of ongoing projects; using the agreed tools at regular intervals to ensure projects are on course and follows the approved methodology.Analyses project progress and financial data and provides value add reports on a weekly/monthly basis to key stakeholders.Meets with Portfolio managers/stakeholders and reviews data.Provides appropriate reporting and information in a format that enables timely decision making and issue resolution by the Steering Group and Sponsors, and in turn to a higher governance board.Experience with Project Portfolio Management tools (Planview, etc.) to manage resource plans and financials.Identifies and understands project dependencies and works with program manager and leads to ensure work schedules, resources, and milestones are aligned.Recommends corrective actions on projects, if required.Works closely with Program and Portfolio managers to review finances.Works with Senior IT Management to agree on yearly timeline.Supports Program Managers in creating Budget submissions.Reviews and collates Budget submissions, providing quality reports.What you need to have:5+ years project management experience.Excellent client-facing skills.A proven track record of successful project implementation in a software or technology environment.The ability to foster motivation within the project team to meet tight deadlines.Exposure to different delivery methodologies.What makes you stand out:Strong partnership with Senior Executives.Proficient in implementing projects using Agile and waterfall methodologies.#J-18808-Ljbffr
