The Enabling Units IT Platform portfolios are a unique mixture of in-house developed, Commercial Off the Shelf Software (COTS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions. Working alongside the Platform Lead, Delivery Lead Software Engineers, Support Analysts, Architects, and other IT and business platform partners, the Learning Senior Consultant (technical) is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality technical solutions. The Learning Integrations & Technical Lead needs a deep understanding of technology and architecture while applying Agile methodology and DevOps principles. The Learning Senior Consultant (technical) should be passionate about software development and be willing to lead, coach, and enable wider teams to grow and expand their software delivery capabilities and skills. This is an outstanding opportunity for a top-tier Technical Lead to advance modern software development practices within our team (DevOps/CI/CD/AI/ML, automated testing), and build specific integration solutions which will accelerate the company's ability to run and transform a critical business platform.
Accountabilities Handle and integrate learning platforms like Saba Cloud, Degreed, and Xyleme, ensuring seamless operations and compliance with standards like SCORM, AICC, and xAPI.Develop and maintain technical solutions using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, APIs, and other modern technologies.Analyze, fix, and resolve issues related to eLearning content, bulk uploads, and integrations.Collaborate across teams to craft, build, and deploy resilient, sustainable, and innovative solutions.Drive the adoption of DevOps practices, improve CI/CD processes, and promote an agile engineering culture.Ensure compliance with GxP, SOx, and data privacy standards.Maintain up-to-date platform documentation and support system lifecycle processes, including decommissioning.Crucial Skills/Experience Overall years of experience 5 plus years (Senior Consultant)Solid experience in leading technical delivery of Learning Technologies such as Cornerstone, Saba, Degreed or similar.Knowledge in IT Service management and experience working on ITSM tools like Service Now.Understanding of software engineering CI/CD processes, with experience in the design and implementation of applications build, release, deployment, containerization, and configuration control management.Experience working with JIRA, Service Now and Automated Testing tools (Jenkins, Bamboo, JIRA, Confluence, CI/CD tools - Ansible, etc).Desirable Skills/Experience Exposure to Adaptive learning technologies.Good programming languages knowledge.Technology stack (.NET, Java, Oracle ADF, Spring boot, eDiscovery tools, Elastic Search, Python & CI/CD DevOps tools, AI capabilities – RPA, Intelligent Automation, Hyper Automation, NLP and Machine Learning).Knowledge in MuleSoft, RDBMS, and MicroStrategy is desirable.Desired Academic Qualification: including BE/B.Tech in Computer Science/IT or Degree level education (Information Technology or similar).Experience in a validated environment with operational awareness of GxP and SOx.Supporting responsibility for decommission process and execution throughout the technology stack.Technically competent and curious with a passion to explore, iterate, fail, and learn.Experience of working in Agile teams using SCRUM and SAFe methodologies.Experience of vendor/technology selection to fulfil specific gaps in the solution stack.Superb communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and handle sophisticated, ambiguous situations.Eager to learn and develop new tech skills as the need arises.Proven Customer focus and ability to work under stress.A self-starter with high levels of drive, energy, and resilience.When we put unexpected teams in the same room, we spark ambitious thinking with the power to inspire life-changing medicines.
