- As a Legal & Compliance Sr. Director, you will report to the Vice President and General Manager for Mexico, being part of the Leadership Team and have a dotted reporting line to the VP Legal & Compliance & Quality & Security LATAM. You will be responsible for managing legal affairs of the Mexico affiliate as well as business ethics compliance issues. We expect a hands-on, experienced Director who can:- Provide proactive, fast, effective, high quality and business-oriented legal support and advice in Affiliate key projects and litigation matters.-
- Provide proactive and high-quality advice on business ethics compliance issues and support staff by giving information and training as necessary, as well as identify and address issues and major risks and report implementation of mitigating actions.-
- Ensure that functions in the Affiliate understand and follow standards and processes which are constantly updated in response to changes in regulations, laws and industry (or other) trends that may impact the business and are often challenged and scrutinized by authorities.-
- Managing data protection issues across the affiliate.**Qualifications**- You have experienced legal and compliance advisor with solid working experience in companies or law firms, with 7+ in Sr. Leadership positions.-
- You have excellent command over both written and spoken English and strong executive presence in dealing with senior stakeholders, personal drive with a 'can-do' attitude, showing proactive thinking and a "show the way" approach and ability to turn complex information into simple and compelling messages.-
- You have extensive knowledge of regulation and business transactions in the Country.**About the Department**
