Senior Associate Lawyer in foreign trade and customs matters We are looking for a lawyer specialized in foreign trade and customs matters with the following skills : leadership, resilience, high-adaptability, responsible, self-starter, solid knowledge, attention to detail, inclusive to all persons, purpose-led and values-driven Requirements : Bachelor's Degree in Law More than 5 years of relevant experience in the area and at least 4 leading teams on this topics Oral and written proficiency in English required Experience in the analysis of International Trade Agreements, rules of origin analysis, IMMEX Program, VAT Certification, PROSEC, Authorized Economic Operator (OEA) and C-TPAT, compliance and regularization of imported goods, experience in tax audits, verification of origin procedures, nullity lawsuits and amparo, INCOTERMS, antidumping procedures. Strong knowledge of the Mexican legal framework applicable to the area Great communication skills both within the Firm and with clients Great team-player Functions : You will be responsible for ensuring compliance of companies with the applicable Mexican legal framework to foreign trade and customs matters, create strategies for global supply chains and foreign trade operations, review and lead projects to obtain permits related to special programs such as IMMEX, OEA, PROSEC, as well as help to maintain them and review any updates required.
