Training is required for changes and implementation of existing policies and procedures, for new assignments, etc. Complete required re-training in areas such as safety and environmental.- Follow all company safety policies and other safety precautions within work area. Promote safety to all associates that enter work area.- Responsible for the execution of projects focused on reducing design related product variation that positively influence the company's business metrics, strategic directions & financial results.- Responsible for assuring projects are well scoped, remain focused, follow the PE process, and that timely progress is being made towards completion. Use the Project Management Mastery principles to identify risks, issues and scope changes in assigned project execution.- Maintain active project plans for significant projects throughout the year such as design changes and cost improvement projects. Conduct regular reviews as necessary with the team and management as well as drive adherence to the schedule.- Identify, plan and execute cost improvement projects in support of supply chain objectives.- Sustain supply chain continuity by qualifying and validating supplier tooling as per component approval procedures.- Ensures closure to component non-conformance issues with timely corrective action submission and approval of suppliers control plans.- Manages assigned NCR'S and CAPA'S, completes actions by due dates and provides periodic updates to management.- Follow established Design Variability Roadmap (DMAIIC process) in the execution of projects
