PURPOSEThe Senior Logistics Sales Professional is responsible for identifying and obtaining new clients across Mexico and the US, maintaining client relationships, and expanding business relationships with current clients through continuous communication and logístical reports.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Engage in best practices by utilizing technology as the driver for value while maintaining a strategic long-term alliance with client- Manage current clients, providing operational insight to efficiently maintain and grow accounts- Proactively build professional relationships with clients, consistently communicating to exceed their expectations and needs- Identify and pursue opportunities for growth with current customers- Maintain a pipeline of sales opportunities to continuously grow your book of business- Work in partnership with the Carrier Development team to identify target lanes or opportunities for cost reductions for clients- Partner with customers to plan and analyze various reports of activities and statistics on a regular basis, distributing them to the appropriate individuals within set time framesREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES- Exceptional attention to detail- Willingness to learn, improve, and receive coaching/constructive feedback- Must be willing to work through unexpected problems to find a reasonable solution- Detail-oriented and problem-solving skills- Ability to work professionally and effectively with a diverse group of individuals- Advance technology skills with a strong focus on retrieving, reviewing and manipulating data in Excel to generate detailed reports and identify areas of success and opportunities for improvement- Ability to quickly learn and navigate through multiple systems proficiently- Ability to self-manage and proactively assume tasks, and communications- Ability to travel throughout the US and Mexico with no travel restrictions**REQUIREMENTS**:- Bilingual - English and Spanish- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or other related field - in lieu of degree, combination of education and years of experience will be considered- 10 years of supply chain or transportation management experience- 7 years of sales experience, including creating pipelines and growing relationships
