The team is responsible for ensuring a healthy operation for cash payments and aims at optimizing processes and experience to provide the best value for all users.We are looking for a Cash Operations Manager who will join the Global Payment Operations team. This person will create and implement the strategy of payments focused on collections methods as well as features that enhance the cash UX across all lines of business.This is a meaningful role aimed at delivering optimization of processes with a customer-centric approach, prioritizing user engagement as well as profitability. The ideal candidate would require a combination of stakeholder management, strategic thinking, problem solving, quantitative analysis, and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams across different territories and to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.Also, the scope of this role is international (LATAM, India, and Africa).What You'll DoBuild the strategy to make payments in cash a sustainable and frictionless payment method at Uber. Leverage data to identify main pain points and design a set of initiatives to be executed in collaboration with cross-functional — local, regional, and global — teams.Build and/or enhance reporting tools to track down key results. Produce ad-hoc analysis to deep-dive on specific topics related to cash payments.Design and implement processes with the objective of ensuring a frictionless operation of cash payments. Collaborate with regional and local teams in diverse initiatives related to enable and/or optimizing cash operations.Map existing processes and identify areas of improvement. Take the lead on proposing new solutions, experimenting, iterating, and implementing them.Product Improvement - Identify recurrent pain points and consolidate information accordingly for building a business case for product improvements.Be an owner — Take ownership of Cash payment operations and do everything you need to support and enhance the quality of the operation and the value offered to users.
