Read about us at arcos-inc.com.Roles and Responsibilities:POSITION SUMMARY: The Director of Software Engineering for ARCOS's nearshore team in Mexico will be responsible for leading the growth of our cross-functional team (Engineering, Support & Professional Services) and expansion into Mexico. You will lead a team of software engineers, support associates, and professional services professionals. You will be responsible for designing, developing, delivering, implementing, and supporting high-quality software solutions that impact the lives of Americans every day, especially during emergencies such as weather (storms) and rebuilding the old infrastructure of utilities in the United States. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor team members, maintain a strong engineering culture that values innovation, continuous improvement, and teamwork, and have strong communication skills to ensure effective collaboration across all teams.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: This is intended as an outline of the essential functions of the position.
