If you want to make a difference and work for a purpose-led company, please read on.Reporting to the Downstream Sales Director – BU Northern Europe, the Senior Manager – Key Accounts will be responsible for leading, supporting and developing a team of Key Account Managers and ensure that the Merchant Sales Channel is well managed in-line with company sales and marketing objectives. The role will also be responsible for ensuring the team maintain and grow existing branch sales, develop range extensions, train merchant staff and convert competitor stockists to Wavin ranges.The roleTo act as a signatory for all contract pricing above Sales Manager level. To deliver profitable growth within the Wavin product ranges.To plan, lead, support and advise on all senior level negotiations within all the Key Account Groups.To ensure that all team activities are aligned to the sales objectives and strategic direction of the business. To develop and implement UK sales strategies to grow specified products in line with overall strategy.To successfully lead your team in line with business procedures through:Recruitment – ensuring all procedures are followed to attract and recruit the best.On-boarding – efficient Induction, probation and training.Development – objective and in line with business needs.Appraisal – objective, consistent and in line with completion timescales.Performance management – managing day to day performance, KPIs, Attendance Management, and efficient handling of Employee Relations issues in conjunction with the People Team.Termination – efficient management of resignations and other terminations.To ensure that all relationships with key customers are maintained and enhanced in line with business strategy and that communication with the Customers is in line with the business message.To ensure that your team manage their relationships with internal departments and employees positively, professionally and effectively.To ensure that all overhead cost centres are managed effectively by your management team. To develop and maintain commercial terms authorisation procedures.To assist in the development of support materials including technical and sales aids.The profileExperience at operating within a highly driven Health and Safety environment
