We achieve this by cultivating a culture to hire, reward, mentor and grow 'Exceptional People.'Position: Senior Manager Maintenance & FacilitiesThe Senior Manager Maintenance & Facilities is responsible for managing the maintenance and repair of all equipment and facility needs at the location. Provide maintenance support for all production cells to maximize up-time, minimize scrap and drive continuous improvements and quality standards. Provide direct supervision of maintenance technicians and associated team members.Duties and Responsibilities:Direct the design, development and continuous execution of maintenance systems, such as preventive and predictive maintenance systems, reliability centered maintenance and computerized maintenance management systems.Drive long term strategic maintenance strategies and metrics to improve equipment efficiency and up-time for production equipment, building and grounds.Perform reliability support, investigations, studies and presentations requiring a high degree of knowledge in operations.Responsible for maintaining interior and exterior building facilities and grounds; this includes service feeds for electricity, gas, water and other required services.Orient, train/develop, motivate, counsel and assist maintenance team members in work instructions and problem resolution.Initiates, evaluates and develops partnerships with key suppliers for facilities and production maintenance (contractors, die shops).Provide leadership in workplace safety issues.Coordinate and work with HR on all employee/employment related issues and activities (i.E. hire termination, training, and performances).Help develop budgets and forecasts and integrate into negotiation process.Measure and track key process information used to direct resources; ensure the transfer of information to appropriate shift and plant wide personnel.Provide analysis and recommendations for equipment repair and maintenance projects.Responsible for knowing and implementing all area specific compliance issues with regards to quality (ISO 9000), safety, environmental (ISO 14000) and Milwaukee/plant policies as applicable.Act as technical resource for manufacturing, maintenance, and engineering and as a backup for maintenance technicians.Contribute to team effort by performing related tasks as needed to assist in overall goals.Stay current with Milwaukee Tool business including present and future trends.Education and Experience Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related field preferred.Minimum of ten years maintenance experience combined with experience in manufacturing.Must have leadership/supervisory experience.Must have excellent personnel management skills.Must have excellent verbal and written communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
