In this role, you will manage the operations finance and accounting teams and be responsible for the financial reporting of Nogales operations, including 2 manufacturing facilities in Nogales, MX.
Additionally, this role will partner with operations leadership supporting 2 Security distribution centers (Nogales, AZ & Louisville, KY), and support our Emtek business HQ in LA, CA.
You will focus on a strong internal control environment by ensuring compliance with GAAP, SOX, and Fortune Brands Accounting Policies and Procedures.ResponsibilitiesPlan, organize and coordinate all plant/DC cost, fixed asset, inventory control, and manufacturing/distribution reporting to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial results.Lead the budgeting process, including forecasting and variance analysis across each site/DC.Partner with leaders at the plants/DCs to build a strong and effective relationship.Reporting and analysis of financial data including understanding business processes, trends, and key performance indicators.Be engaged and have leadership in a successful month-end close process.Assist in interpretation and resolution of operating variances with operations leadership.Organize and coordinate annual budget preparation.Work across finance/ops/accounting and IT teams to implement, apply, and continue improving financial processes and procedures.Provide clarity on variable cost changes and progress toward operations' continuous improvement initiatives.Lead the manufacturing finance/accounting team - perform and/or coordinate yearly performance reviews including assistance in career development where appropriate.Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve productivity across the plants with the operations team.Lead in maintaining and improving processes in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley legislation.Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to aid in critical business decisions
