**DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION**
Salesforce Professional Services - Global Delivery Centre (GDC) focuses on delivering global strategic engagements that define transformational opportunities and execution of change programs. We are the trusted delivery partner for Professional Services that ensures end to end multi-cloud delivery capabilities across all Salesforce technologies and scales with agility for successful customer outcomes! We at GDC strive to foster growth & innovation and enable for Salesforce Professional Services with focus on performance, productivity & impact. **OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE**
Salesforce is currently seeking a Senior Manager, Solution Consulting to join our Global Delivery Centre (GDC) team. This role plays a meaningful part in managing, training, and building the careers of our technical and solution consulting team.
- You'll be responsible for leading, training, and mentoring Technical and Solution Consultants to transform the program designs of our Solution Architects and Technical Architects into configured solutions that meet customer needs, while also enhancing the delivery capabilities of our Technical & Solution Consulting teams.
- You'll oversee between 15-20 direct reports, balancing your leadership responsibilities with delivering solution work on projects at a 25% utilization rate.
**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- 15+ Years of experience leading solution consulting projects and managing individual contributors.
- Experience leading professional consulting teams delivering large enterprise-scale Salesforce implementations.
- Experience in agile and hybrid SDLC models including full lifecycle deployments.
- 3+ Years Implementing Salesforce CRM Projects including Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
- 10+ years experience in Project Management Roles. Experienced in leading external client projects in positions of growing responsibility in the delivery of business consulting and systems development.
- Consistent track record of training and coaching consultants to thrive in a professional consulting environment as well as assisting direct reports in the definition and attainment of individual goals.
- A good understanding of user interface design principles, with a consistent track record of creative Salesforce development.
- Strong knowledge of a variety of technology and the ability to multi-task between different projects and workflow stages.
- Experience working on deployment teams, ideally using Agile development techniques
- Passionate about developing apps that are both eye-catching and intuitive
- Self-starter, adept at picking up new skills and technologies, and eager to break new ground
- You will serve as an escalation point for your team of Technical Consultants; Build credibility and trust within the Salesforce Industries professional services group.
**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- Agile Scrum Master Certification
- EPC/CPQ/OM
- Salesforce Certification - Administrator, App Builder or more preferred
- Industry domain experience in Financial Services, Health Insurance, Telecommunication, Consumer Goods sector is ideal.
- Experience with the Salesforce Industries suite of products is a plus.
