Join our team today!The Senior Manager is responsible for leading and delivering optimized worldwide inventory plans.
Strategically leads the global inventory planning and drives optimal levels of inventory for the business.
Is accountable for in-depth knowledge of inventory management trends such as MEIO strategies, financial considerations, business strategies and future capabilities to develop and articulate the long term inventory strategy, vision and 5 year plan.
Will work very closely with the Regional Planning, Supply Network Planning, and Product Planning and Logistics organizations to ensure that inventory levels are optimized, and the supply chain is delivering all commitments in this area.
**Key Responsibilities**:- Drives Global Network Inventory Optimization strategy through a Multi Echelon Inventory Optimization approach through the utilization of digital technology (i.E., Llamasafot).- Leads annual volume setting, develop, and drive inventory optimization plans across the globe, and institute the required business processes and capabilities to ensure sustainable improvements to inventory are delivered to the business.- Develops and implements stock strategy for the global network and aligns with key partners, incorporating strategy into the financial outlook and target setting activities.- Crafts strategy then influences plan, source, deliver & make partners across the organization to drive the strategy into action.- Defines and maintains IBP for inventory management and deploys best practices across the entire supply chain.- Leads inventory projection process and leadership reviews (E2E supply chain & financial reporting)- Influence peers towards driving action and trains indirect team members on inventory management to build a culture focused on inventory while leading decision making aligned with the strategy defined.- Analyzes inventory and SLOB results then provide mentorship/recommendations for inventory trade-offs & decisions to business partners such as, liquidation, donation, and destruction processes.
**Qualifications** Education**:- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required.
BA or Engineering degree preferred.
**Experience and Skills**:- 10+ years in manufacturing, supply chain planning, logistics, and/or procurement is required.- Health Care industry experience is preferred.- At least 5 years people leadership with global experience strongly preferred.- Experience working in S&OP Planning environment is highly preferred.- Experience working across operations / commercial teams strongly preferred.- Experience with ERP (SAP/APO/OMP) and Advanced Planning Systems is required.- Experience with MEIO software is preferred.
