Descripción y detalle de las actividadesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Be responsible for producibility / process capability, manufacturing process development, tool design, manufacturing cost estimating, Sourcing technical support, product and process qualifications, test support, product cost reduction efforts, and Capital Equipment projects. - Support Maintenance and Facilities activities. - Support Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing initiatives. - Provide technical leadership for the manufacturing processes and testing of products. - Own or support manufacturing engineering projects requiring development of specifications, supplier management, purchase, installation, and qualification of manufacturing equipment. - Develop procedures and work instructions to document process. - Maintain up to date the Company lay-out. - Monitor metrics like, scrap or productivity to ensure process performance. - Follow up and maintain on time, corrective actions assigned to him. - Supports, to other department to solve manufacturability issues. - Participates on Internal Audits, as required. - Make sure the any process into facility is safe, can produce parts with quality, and on costs target. - Leads 5's initiative. - Actively promote company Values, Mission, Vision and ensure all functions adhere to the Quality Policy. - Transmit teamwork, positive attitude, leadership and discipline. Fact and data-driven, methodic, and analytical. - Support and enforce MTE Policies internal or external, like Safety First, 5's, etc. AUTHORITIES - Along with Quality Engineer, Release/Approval process or products that ensure the customer satisfaction. - Revise/approve the preventive maintenance activities either for machines or facilities. - Put on hold process, that are not safe, or cannot produce product with Quality. - Approves or disapproves the scrap reported by production. - Approves or disapproves any change on the company lay-out.
