Maintain optimal inventory levels at minimum cost, as well as avoiding extraordinary costs and parts obsolescence costs and customer requirements focused on business financial objectives and corporate requirements.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Supply Chain with high capacity to identify problems (root cause, action plan and monitoring of compliance).
System update of reports/incidents derived from the findings to the supplier.
Planning and maintaining daily supply chain operations for critical suppliers or customers in materials, production, inventory, logistics, customer service, demand management, or order fulfillment.
Ensuring internal and external customers' expectations and requirements are met.How You'll Make an ImpactWork proactively for optimal management together with R&D, Quality area, Engineering, Manufacturing, CS, Purchasing, Logistics & Production.Ensure the proper reception of materials according to requirements, timeline, forecast and sales.Handle problems with leadership, escalation process, cooperation and excellent communication.Act as main point of contact with vendors allowing them visibility of regional initiatives in order to ensure timely supply of products.Ensures correct ordering of material supply in terms of quantity and time while optimizing order size and minimizing obsoletes.Responsible for managing item planning parameters including but not limited to lead time, MOQ, safety stock and perform continuous maintenance of planning parameters and update as needed.Own and manage the planning systems and tools.Effectively communicate with demand planners to ensure new initiatives and products are properly recorded and timely reflected in the supply plan in order to avoid disruptions.Collaborate to track the vendor shipment performance (to develop a metric/report).Owner of SKU management and rationalization including new product introductions, transitions and lifecycle management.Give a logistic follow-up of materials with suppliers.Negotiate delivery dates with suppliers.
Ensure compliance with customer requirements.Maintains the time and quantity MRP parameters, aggregates cross-category requirements and acts on any MRP exceptions in accordance with the production plan.Handle Raw Material transportation damage claims and disposition.Collaborate with operations and sales teams to research and identify inventory discrepancies, in a timely manner.Compliance with KPI's of the materials area.Daily review of coverages & identify material sourcing risks or opportunities and escalates issues to the appropriate parties (internal and external).What You BringBachelor´s Degree in Industrial Engineering, International Trade or related3 to 5 years of experience with materials planning & logistics having managed product portfolios in supply replenishment and purchasing planning roles.Fluent English Excel expertSAP Knowledge: Supply Chain, Materials Planning, Demand, Purchasing, Customer Service, Forecast, S&P, Import and export process, IMMEX.Technical Knowledge: Suppliers' management, In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management systemsKnowledge of Supply Chain Processes, such as Sales and Operations Planning, MRP, Forecasting, Demand and Supply Planning, Indirect Procurement, Materials Management and Logistics, Material flow, Knowledge in import and export process,Transportation ManagementStrong knowledge intercompany processes.
