Descripción y detalle de las actividades- Responsible for evaluating existing product related to design, manufacturing, customer complaints, quality deficiencies and performance issues and develop creative solutions. -Responsible to improve current designs by reducing cost, improving producibility, quality, testability, increasing robustness and improving reliability. -Lead and participate in new product development and Product transfers activities, such as testing, documentation, releases to Manufacturing and in the introduction of new processes and technologies. -Lead Product Engineering Changes, qualifying and implementing changes, and closing with the Product Change Review Board notification and approval. -Generate product portfolio and identify opportunities for cost reduction and manufacturing standardization and engage Quality and Process Engineering to implement. -Applies statistical methods for data collection, analysis and problem solving. -Participate in innovation forums, summits, projects & provide sustainable proposals from existing products & technologies, as well as trendy apps. -Coordinate assessments over materials properties and behavior for manufacturing processes. -Lead design engineering projects of the platforms assigned. -Participate in the development of procedures and tool improvements for engineering department.Experiência y requisitos- University.
