Senior Network Security Specialist

Job DescriptionWe are looking for you to support our area Network Security at the location, Queretaro.Main Tasks:Service design, technical design, consulting and 3rd level support for Continental Automotive global Secure Connectivity Solutions: LAN, WLAN, Network SecurityCommunication and coordination of activities with external suppliers, hardware vendors and internal departments for service-related topics (Design, Demand Mgmt., Implementation, Incidents, Changes)Drive Escalation and Problem Management processes with internal IT teams and external service providersDevelop and recommend measures in order to improve the network and network security structure by considering functionality and costsSupport Application and Service Owner with complex performance problems related to the Secure Connectivity Solutions: analysis, setup different scenarios, document performance measurements, troubleshooting, testingPlan, provision and maintain an automation, orchestration and analysis platform for Secure Connectivity SolutionsProject work in global teamsQualificationsAcademic Degree in Information Technology or comparable qualificationExpert knowledge in the networking area: Network topologies, TCP/¬IP protocols, Routing ProtocolsExpert knowledge in the LAN/WLAN areaKnowledge of Next Generation Firewall Solutions as well as Cisco network and network security solutionDevOps skills is a plusFluent English language skills (written and spoken)Very good communication skillsWilling to relocate to Queretaro Experience:5 years in IT Infrastructure NetworksExperience in the area of network automation & monitoring as well as IT Service ManagementExperience in working as part of a global acting and multicultural team, with international supplier/vendorsAdditional InformationIn Continental we are committed to an inclusive and non-discriminatory culture, we will never require a HIV or pregnancy test as a part of our selection process.
