Position Overview
Organize, plan, and manage the different areas of the production process and support departments to obtain a quality product and service for customers, an efficient process controlling labor and material resources to maintain a cost within the company, and a safe and dignified place for employees.
What you'll do
Manage and coordinate all production activities, ensuring that products are manufactured to quality standards, on schedule, and within budget
Supervise, train, and evaluate production staff, identifying areas for improvement and fostering a safe and productive work environment
Promote teamwork and communication between different departments to ensure that objectives are met
Production Planning and Improvement: Develop and execute effective production plans, optimizing available resources to maximize efficiency and minimize costs
Identify and implement continuous improvements in production processes
Safety and Quality Compliance: Ensure that all applicable safety, health, and environmental regulations, as well as quality regulations, are met
Machinery Maintenance and Control: Oversee the maintenance and repair of plant machinery and equipment to ensure proper operation and minimize downtime
Budget Management: Develop and control the plant budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and constantly looking for ways to reduce costs without compromising quality
Who you are
Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
Advanced Office skills
Advanced English skills (reading and writing skills that allow for fluent project presentations and/or participation in Negotiation Processes)
More than 5 years in the Administration of Production and Personnel Processes
Lean certification desirable
Demonstrated experience in plant management or similar roles in the manufacturing industry
Strong knowledge of production management, machinery maintenance, and compliance with quality and safety standards
Leadership skills and ability to manage large teams
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Results-oriented and ability to work under pressure
