Transforming Information into IntelligenceMicron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence. This position involves working as an analog designer at Micron Mexico Design Center.
The ideal candidate will have experience with mixed signal circuit design, particularly in areas such as regulator, charge pump, oscillator, current reference, bandgap, comparator design. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, designing, optimizing, and verifying block-level circuits for all DRAM-related projects at Micron.
They will use both analog and digital CMOS design skills to work on various circuits, including I/O's, voltage regulators, generators, amplifiers, oscillators, pumps, translators, repair-related circuits, DLL, and standard control logic. The individual will work closely with Micron's design teams worldwide and leverage vast resources available throughout Micron's global sites.
Additionally, they will provide layout supervision and optimize layout throughout post-layout simulations.RequirementsThe ideal candidate should have:Analog IC design experience, particularly in regulator, charge pump, oscillator, current reference, bandgap, comparator design.Past circuit debug experience through Product Engineering or equivalent preferred.Experience inside the memory industry, either in flash or dram, is a plus.Proficiency with UNIX and CADENCE design environment (Simulation, Schematic entry, SPF extraction).Experience with circuit verification and optimization, including layout verification and parasitic extractions of the circuits.Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to other design peers both verbally and written. The ability to work independently and in teams.Understanding of device physics and basic CMOS processing techniques preferred.Experience with PERL (or other scripting language), a plus.Highly motivated and self-starter.Multi-tasking ability is essential for this role, as we work with all product types and product teams in parallel with silicon validation efforts.EducationMSEE + 5 or BSEE + 10 years' post-graduate mix-mode or analog circuit design experience.15+ years' experience is preferred.
New Graduate College student is also welcomed.
